Kostas Giokas – Country Manager Greece


Kostas Giokas heads up Carlson Wagonlit Travel's Greek network that includes the main office in Holargos (Athens), the Northern Greece branch office of Thessaloniki, as well as the on-site office in Athens (U.S. Embassy); a position which he took up in 1998. Kostas Giokas' responsibilities include overseeing the Company's Accounting & Financial operations, the Information Technology Department of the company, as well as leading Supplier Management activities. That means more than 50 staff members, which is not a small number for the Greek travel market standards. His background in sales, account/program management & operations, means he has a strong focus on the customer. Based at Holargos, Carlson Wagonlit Travel Greece's Head Office, Kostas is an acknowledged authority in the business travel industry, being a member of the Board of Directors of HATTA (Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourism Agents) and Chairman of Greece's APJC (Agency Program Joint Council).

 

Makis Benetatos – Director of Sales & Program Management


Makis Benetatos is responsible for building on Carlson Wagonlit Travel's strong sales growth in Greece. His back ground in various industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Logistics & Shipping, allow him to absolutely understand our customers’ needs.

 
Roula Sakarellou – Manager - Traveler & Transaction Services

 

Roula Sakarellou is responsible for providing the necessary service levels to Carlson Wagonlit Travel customers while meeting profit and productivity targets and ensures that Carlson Wagonlit Travel continues to be the business travel management market leader in standards and added value.

 

Mary Garifallidi – Senior Account Manager, CWT Meetings & Events


Mary Garifallidi is responsible for building on Carlson Wagonlit Travel's strong sales growth in Greece, in the field of Events & Conferences. Her background in Planning & Operations, is a corner stone in all that she proposes, being able to fully cover our customer needs.

 

Giannis Georgitsis – Senior Account Manager, CWT Meetings & Events

 

Giannis Georgitsis carries many years of experience in supervising sales for key clients. Recognizes customer needs, prepares and recommends action plans and ensures effective implementation, especially in the field of Meetings & Events, aiming to customer satisfaction and enhancing strong relationships.


Michael Kanakis – Senior Account Manager, CWT Meetings & Events


In charge of Events & Meetings for Pharmaceutical accounts, joined Carlson Wagonlit Travel team in October 2008, bringing with him years of experience and a well known reputation. 
Enthusiasm, innovation and a very well organized professional outgoing team, invariably mark Michael’s accomplishments with great success. 
A proactive approach to all his projects enables him to guarantee client satisfaction thus furthering the development of Carlson Wagonlit's activities and growth.

 

Lili Christoforidi - Senior Account Manager , CWT Meetings & Events

 

Lili Christoforidi with a long experience in muntinational companies & especially in tourism event management, joined the team of Carlson Wagonlit Travel on December 2009.
Responsible for the meetings & events of a "mosaic" portfolio including pharmaceutical, commercial, communication & advertising companies, follows with great interest the local & international trends of the markets. Still passionate with travelling & organization handles every single project with fresh & creative attitude giving emphasis on the increase of value offered. Her moto is that details make the difference in a cooperation & enforce clients' loyalty thus guaranteeing Carlson Wagonlit Travel’s top ranking on the business travel industry.


Costas Palaskas – I.T. Manager 

 
Costas Palaskas is responsible for providing the business with the IT infrastructure and service it requires while implementing the global IT strategy and standards, at a cost the company and its customers find acceptable.
